Strictly Biblical Bible Teaching Ministries officially began in February of 1997.  The name “Strictly Biblical” was actually the name of a Christian radio show hosted by Pastor Emery Moss, Jr., when he was an associate pastor at “Evangel Ministries,” under the leadership of Pastor George Bogel. 

The church held its first service at the Plaza Hotel, then later at the Ramada Inn in Southfield, Michigan.  In less than nine months, Strictly Biblical Bible Teaching Ministries moved into our first church building, located at 6811 Calhoun in Dearborn, Michigan.

As you can see by God’s grace, Strictly Biblical has been growing and moving swiftly.  At our Dearborn location, it was estimated that we were gaining four members per week.  Now located at 10709 Grand River Ave. in Detroit, we continue our focus to spread knowledge of the saving power of Jesus Christ right in the heart of the Motor City!
